History
Radio Prekursur is a community radio transmitting from Xewkija during the village feast in
honor of the patron Saint of Xewkija - Saint John the Baptist. For the first time it
broadcasted also in December 1999 and January 2000 with great success. Although for the
beheading of Saint John there were no radio transmittion, the Radio Prekursur team
webcasted live, with video streaming this event. The aim of the radio is to serve as a
link for those who cannot take part in the activities that are organized during the feast.
Since the opening of the radio in 1997 the organizing committee was looking forward to
improve this link. It's dreams are to extend the voice of this radio to Emigrants outside
of Xewkija, with the Webcasting service. You can look at others comments! and
